1. Overview
Bintainer ("we", "us", "our") offers subscription-based access to our component inventory management platform. This Refund Policy explains the terms under which refunds may be issued for paid subscriptions.
2. Free Plan
The Free plan has no cost and requires no payment. Since no charges are made, no refund applies.
3. Paid Subscriptions (Pro & Team Plans)
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and provide immediate access to premium features upon payment. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Cancel anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal. Upon cancellation, you retain full access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
- No partial-period refunds: We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will continue to have access for the remainder of that period, but no pro-rated refund will be provided.
- Downgrade to Free: After your paid subscription ends (either by cancellation or expiration), your account automatically reverts to the Free plan. Your data is preserved, but usage limits of the Free plan will apply.
4. Refund Eligibility
We may issue a refund at our discretion in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error.
- Service unavailability: If the Service was substantially unavailable for an extended period during your billing cycle and you were unable to use the features you paid for.
- First-time subscribers: If you subscribed to a paid plan for the first time and request a refund within 7 days of your initial payment, we will issue a full refund. This applies only to the first billing cycle and only once per account.
5. How to Request a Refund

- Your account email address
- The date and amount of the charge
- The reason for your refund request
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed through our payment provider (LemonSqueezy) and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment method.
6. Annual Subscriptions
If you purchased an annual subscription:
- You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial annual payment, provided you have not made substantial use of the Service during that period.
- After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the annual billing period.
7. Plan Changes
If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, you will be charged the pro-rated difference for the remainder of the billing period. If you downgrade, the new lower rate takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refund is issued for downgrades.
8. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to reach out to us directly so we can resolve any billing issues quickly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
